Edo Period Lacquered Jubako.  A rare Japanese Edo Period five-tiered jubako with fitted lid, finished in warm red lacquer and decorated with delicate gold motifs. The edges feature fine mother-of-pearl inlay. Retaining its original aged condition, this beautiful box displays wonderful character and historic charm.The size is D:225mm x W:340mm x H:510mm and the Weight is  6.100Kgs
