A striking Japanese Seto pottery vase, circa 1950, decorated with boldly incised chrysanthemum flowers beneath a warm amber-brown glaze. Its generous rounded form, expressive kiln effects, and darker flowing glaze marks give the piece wonderful character and a strong handcrafted presence.
