Japanese Pottery Mizuzashi with lid. A colourful Japanese mizusashi water jar traditionally used during the tea ceremony. Featuring a sky blue drip glazes over a natural earth base, it has wonderful character and texture. While made for holding fresh water, we think it also makes a perfect and stylish container for tea bags.
These are used in the Tea Ceremony to store and replenish fresh water for the kettle. It is on show and is admired by the guests in the Tea House.
