Featuring double-door upper compartments and multiple drawers below, this Japanese Meiji-era Tansu combines functional elegance with traditional joinery and an aged, warm natural finish. A very versatile two-section chest that can be stacked, used as a bedside chest, placed side by side as a low sideboard, or arranged back to back as a unique coffee table. Functional, flexible, and beautifully crafted.
