Japanese Cast Iron Hanging Lantern
Japanese cast-iron hanging lantern dating from circa 1960. Its traditional pagoda-shaped roof and pierced decorative panels feature auspicious motifs, allowing candlelight to cast attractive patterns. The naturally weathered, rusted surface gives the lantern wonderful age and character. Complete with an iron hanging chain and hinged door, it makes a distinctive feature indoors or in a sheltered garden.
