Japanese Buddhist Rin Bell and Stand.

 A beautiful Japanese Buddhist Rin bell, dating from circa 1930, traditionally used in Buddhist temples and home altars during prayer, chanting and meditation.

The hand-hammered metal bell produces a clear, resonant tone when struck with the accompanying red lacquer striker. Presented on an ornate red and gold lacquered wooden stand with a decorative brocade cushion.

A striking and authentic Japanese Buddhist piece, equally appealing as a spiritual object or decorative feature in a contemporary interior.
