This exquisite two-section Isho Dansu dates back to the Meiji period (1868–1912) and exemplifies the refined craftsmanship of traditional Japanese cabinetry. Constructed from solid Kiri wood (Paulownia), prized for its light weight, durability, and resistance to insects and humidity, the piece showcases hand forged iron hardware and traditional joinery techniques, ensuring both strength and elegance.
