A very rare Kannon Biraki Tansu Clothing Chest. Edo Period 1603-1868 This is rare because of the configuration on the bottom section having 2 sliders and drawers behind with a secret drawer (Not Shown in photos)
Made of all Paulownia wood ( Kiri in Japanese) all harware is hand forged even every nail thats not bamboo. Comes in 2 sections could be used as bedside chests a low sideboard or back to back as a cofee table.
