Antique Kitchen Chest Sideboard. This is the top section of a Hikone Region Kyushaku Mizuya Dansu Kitchen Chest. The top has been braced with a strut of timber to allow for heavy weights such as flat screen TV’s. Kyushaku is the Japanese measurement for this size chest, and translates as “9 Shaku”.
