Antique Japanese Step Chest Kaidan Dansu. A spectacular example of a Kaidan Dansu . Timber: Thick mountain cedar on the step treads, the front frame is Hinoki Japanese Cypress. Drawer fronts are Keyaki Japanese Elm and the frame and interior timber is Cryptomeria Japanese Cedar. In great condition.
