This is used for smoking a pipe. The blue and white bowl with ash would have a small pile of hot coals for lighting the pipe. The bamboo was used as the ashtray. The box is lacquer on wood. In good condition. 260 mm’s wide by 170 mm’s and 100 mm’s high.
