Meisen Kimono

This is an excellent example of a Meisen weave silk Kimono. The threads are dyed and then woven (Ikat), a highly complex technique. This has a gorgeous design of Iris. It does have a few rusty spots but otherwise in great condition. From shoulder to hem is 153 cm’s and width is from sleeve tip to sleeve tip 127 cm’s.
