Japanese Maki-e lacquered Jubako, circa 1920, with five tiers and two lids. Decorated in black lacquer with gold chrysanthemums, plum blossoms, and bamboo grass motifs. A refined example of traditional craftsmanship used for festive food presentation.
In good condition apart from a few little chips.
