This is a large Kamakura Bori lacquered Teibako . It is carved then lacquered with red then black lacquer over that then the black is rubbed off creating this wonderful design. In good condition there are some chips and scratches on the bottom. The size is D:300mm x W:363mm x H:155mm and the Weight is 2.420Kgs
