Japanese Chest on Chest. A Meiji period Clothing Chest on Chest. Made from Kiri (Paulownia) and Sugi (Japanese Cedar). This is from the Tokyo (Kanto) region. This Antique Clothing Chest comes in 2 Sections. Hardware is all hand forged Iron. Deep and easy sliding drawers. These could be seperated and used as bedside chests or a low sideboard.
