An early Meiji Period Clothing Chest and is of exceptional quality. Generous use of wood and made entirely of Paulownia. Tokyo region Isho Dansu (Kimono Chest). This Antique Clothing Chest comes in 2 Sections (Chest on Chest). Hardware is all hand forged Iron, including all the nails. Deep and easy sliding drawers. These could be seperated and used as bedside chests or a low sideboard.
