Japanese Wakasa Lacquer Tebako (Letter storage box)

Tebako where use for storing written letters. Wakasa lacquer is many layers of different coloured lacquer and mother of pearl. This is a very time consuming process.

In good condition. There is a very small crack along the top to side joint, i photographed it very hard to see. The size is D: 275 mm x W: 360 mm x H: 120 mm and the weight is  1.5 Kgs.   (The dimensions and weight below are for calculating shipping only.)
