An early Meiji Period Isho Dansu (Clothing Chest) a stunning example of a Tokyo Region Chest all hardware including the nails are hand forged. A very flexible configuration can be used as bedside chests, side by side as a low sideboard even back to back for a coffee table the big deep drawers all slide with ease.
