Japanese Antique Step Chest (Kaidan Dansu)
A very unusual Kaidan Dansu (Step Chest) this chest was made by a furniture maker and then transported in 2 sections and fitted into the house. The door is decorated with arrow tail designs which reflects the owner’s passion for archery.
In great condition.
